If the automatic payment fails on the last banking day of the month, the system will not attempt to charge your card every single day. Instead, we have a fixed timeline for automatic payment attempts and late fees.
When do we automatically attempt to charge the amount again? After the first failed attempt, the system will automatically try again on the following dates:
The 1st and 2nd of the month.
The 11th of the month.
The 22nd of the month.
Last bankday
If the payment is still not received, we will try again at the beginning of the following month (the 1st, 2nd, and 10th).
When are late fees applied? You have up to two days after the first payment attempt to manually pay the missing amount before a fee is applied. If the amount is not paid, a late fee of 100 DKK is added on these dates:
1st late fee: The 3rd of the month.
2nd late fee: The 14th of the month.
3rd late fee: The 25th of the month.
Note: If the payment is still missing on the 11th of the following month, the case will be sent to debt collection (inkasso).
What should you do? You will receive both an SMS and an email informing you that the payment could not be processed. To avoid late fees, we always recommend that you pay manually as soon as possible instead of waiting for the next automatic charge.
To pay manually, simply log in to your Anyday account and click Make a payment on the Home page.
Once the payment goes through, you will receive a confirmation email, and the payment will be reflected on your MyAnyday account.
If your payment card has changed or been blocked, you can easily update your card details on your account. Read more here. You can also read more about the entire reminder process here.
