This usually does not mean that your order has been cancelled by the webshop.
It simply means that the technical reservation of your funds has been released because the webshop has not shipped your items yet.
Why does this happen?
For security reasons, a reservation has a time limit.
Standard: Most orders have a reservation period of 14 days.
Exceptions: A few webshops have an extended period of up to 28 days.
If the webshop does not ship the item within this period (e.g., due to backorders or pre-orders), the reservation expires automatically.
Is my order cancelled then?
No, most likely not. Even though the reservation has expired in our system, your order is often still active with the webshop.
When the webshop is ready to ship your item, the system will automatically attempt to capture the payment again – without you needing to take any action.
Important: What you need to be aware of
Since the reservation has been released, the funds are no longer "locked" for the order. They are available to you again.
For the webshop to successfully ship your item, there must be sufficient funds available at the exact moment they ship it. Therefore, please ensure the following:
Your bank account: There must be enough money to cover the first installment.
Your Anyday credit: You must have enough available credit to cover the full order amount.
Note: You will not receive an email when a reservation expires – this is only visible in your account overview. You will receive a notification once the webshop ships the item and completes the payment.
