Competitions: Drive Motivation Through Friendly Performance Challenges
Competitions is a new module that allows admins to create and manage performance-based contests directly within Applause.
With Competitions, you can:
● Create, schedule, and manage competitions from one centralized dashboard
● Build contests using any available KPI
● View live standings and real-time progress throughout the competition
● Automatically award bonuses through Applause, eliminating manual payouts
● Track competition results with bonuses reflected in reports and employee bonus history
Competitions replace manual tracking tools like spreadsheets and whiteboards, making it easier
to run consistent, automated incentive programs that drive measurable performance.
Scorecards Updates: More Metrics. Deeper Performance Visibility.
This quarter, we expanded Scorecards with additional metrics designed to better align performance tracking with real business outcomes.
With these updates, you can:
● Track performance metrics that reflect real operational and revenue impact
● Measure outcomes like memberships sold (count and revenue), tech sales, labor efficiency, and more.
● Improve accuracy for metrics such as time on site to better reflect actual job
performance
Location Settings: More Control Over Reviews and Bonuses
Location Settings now offer greater flexibility, allowing admins to customize how reviews are matched and rewarded at the location level.
With these updates, you can:
● Configure Auto Reply rules per location to better control how reviews are associatedwith jobs and employees
● Set Review Bonus rules by location, ensuring incentives align with local goals and
performance priorities
These enhancements reduce the need for workarounds, improve accuracy, and give teams more control over how review programs are managed across locations.
Platform Enhancements: Integrations, Insights & Security Improvements
This quarter, we delivered several platform updates focused on connectivity, visibility, and stronger account security.
New Integrations: Motive, Onestep, Roadeazy, and Bouncie integrations expand data visibility and make it easier to connect Applause with your existing systems.
Service Groups: Service groups give admins the ability to customize post-service messages from Applause to be tailored to the unique service types that are being rendered to their customers. This update aims to give more flexibility and control over what you ask yourcustomers and when you ask it. To enable or configure Service Groups, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
NPS Updates: Admins can now enable “Auto-Assign Due Diligence” to automatically route NPS follow-ups to the right owner for faster action and accountability.
Reports Enhancements: A new time zone filter was added to now view reports in your local time zone for more accurate analysis.
Security Enhancements: Two-Factor Authentication was enabled to add an extra layer of account protection during login. New password strength requirements were also added to enforce stronger passwords to help safeguard user accounts.
