Referrals: Run a complete referral program in Applause

Everything you need to collect, manage, and reward referrals now lives directly inside Applause with no manual tracking or third-party tools required.

With Referral Programs, you can:

  • Automatically send referral payouts via direct deposit (ACH), Venmo, or gift cards. Applause handles the entire process, eliminating manual tracking and fulfillment.

  • Prompt referrals at the right moment by automatically reaching out to your happiest customers after a positive experience.

  • Create custom referral forms that can be shared across email, social media, email signatures, invoices, seasonal campaigns, and more.

  • Empower technicians in the field to collect referrals from current customers, or even neighbors, using mobile forms that submit directly into your Applause dashboard for centralized tracking.

  • Track performance in real time with visibility into conversion rates, click-throughs, and referral activity.

  • Manage all referrals in one place, with a single dashboard to view statuses, track progress, and add notes.

Competitions Enhancements: Location and Region-Based Contests

We’ve expanded Competitions to support location and region-based contests, making it easy to drive performance across entire branches or territories, not just individuals.

With these updates, you can:

  • Run location vs. location competitions where entire branches compete based on combined performance

  • Run region vs. region competitions across multiple locations, working toward shared goals

  • Roll up individual performance to the team level for accurate location and region leaderboards

  • Filter participants by user group to create fair matchups (e.g., technicians only)

  • Track live team standings in the mobile app with real-time leaderboard updates

  • Reward winning teams automatically using per-user or split-pool payout options

  • Manage all competitions in one place, including recurring or one-time contests

These updates make it easier to engage teams and turn friendly competition into measurable performance gains.


AI Insights: Instant Answers Across Your Business

AI Insights is a conversational assistant built directly into Applause, giving you fast, data-backed answers without the need to run reports or dig through dashboards.

With AI Insights, you can:

  • Ask questions and get immediate answers across NPS, reviews, scorecards, bonuses, employees, and locations

  • Analyze trends and surface key insights from customer feedback and performance data

  • Receive spot bonus recommendations for high performers, with full admin approval control

  • Take action faster, turning insights into next steps in real time

  • Access everything in one place, with no need to switch between reports or tools


AI Pest ID (Mobile): Instant Pest Identification in the Field

AI Pest ID brings real-time, AI-powered pest identification directly into the Applause mobile app, helping technicians respond with confidence while on-site.

With AI Pest ID, technicians can:

  • Snap a photo and get instant pest identification using AI directly from the mobile app

  • Receive treatment suggestions and recommendations based on the identified pest

  • Get guidance on how to communicate with homeowners, improving trust and professionalism

  • Create upsell and lead opportunities by identifying issues and recommending next steps in real time


Scorecards & Performance Management: More Flexibility. Deeper Insights. Smarter Metrics.

This quarter, we introduced powerful enhancements to Scorecards that give you more control over how performance is measured, tracked, and optimized across your organization.

Equations & Filters: Customize How You Measure Performance

Scorecard Equations and Filters give you complete control over your metrics, allowing you to tailor performance tracking to match how your business actually operates.

With these updates, you can:

  • Customize metrics with advanced filters to include or exclude specific job types for more accurate performance tracking

  • Create custom formulas and calculated metrics, combining existing data to measure what matters most to your business

Metric Library: Full Visibility Into Your Performance Data

The new Metric Library provides a centralized view of all available metrics, making it easier to understand, manage, and leverage your data.

With these updates, you can:

  • Explore 70+ available metrics with clear definitions and calculation logic

  • Understand where your data comes from, including CRM, fleet, and CSR systems

  • View all available metrics in one centralized library, organized by type, source, and operational theme

  • Rename metrics to align with your internal terminology (e.g., “Reservice” to “Callbacks”)

  • Control where metrics appear, including scorecards, leaderboards, competitions, and the mobile app

  • Preserve historical accuracy, ensuring past performance data, bonuses, and reports remain unchanged as metrics evolve

New Metrics: Expanded Performance Tracking Across Systems

We continue to expand our metric coverage to better reflect real-world performance across your operations.

New metrics this quarter include:

  • Tech notes

  • Payment collected

  • Total square footage

  • Cancellation count and rate

  • Referrals submitted

Reservice Improvements: More Accurate Callback Tracking

We’ve enhanced reservice attribution logic to better reflect true performance and operational realities.

With these updates, you can:

  • Map specific callback types to service IDs, improving how reservices are tracked and categorized

  • Increase accuracy in performance metrics, ensuring callbacks are attributed correctly within your reporting

These enhancements transform Scorecards into a more flexible and powerful performance management system, giving you the tools to measure what matters, drive accountability, and align metrics with real business outcomes.


Integrations: Expanded Connectivity with CSR Systems

We’ve expanded our integrations to include additional CSR platforms, making it easier to bring call center and customer service performance data directly into Applause.

New integrations this quarter include:

Truce: We’ve added a new integration with Truce, a mobile-first AI telematics platform focused on safer driving and coaching. This integration brings driving score data and detailed behavioral insights—such as phone and app usage while driving—directly into Applause, helping teams improve driver safety, reduce risk, and build a stronger safety culture without requiring additional hardware.

CSR integrations include:

  • Dialpad

  • RingCentral

  • Zoom Contact Center

With these updates, you can:

  • Ingest CSR KPIs directly into Applause, alongside existing operational data

  • Unify performance tracking across CSR, NPS, and Scorecards in one platform

  • Create parity between CSR and technician performance reporting, enabling consistent measurement across roles

  • Improve visibility into customer interactions and outcomes by connecting CSR data to broader business performance metrics

These integrations help connect the full customer journey — from first call to completed service — within a single performance system.


Reviews Due Diligence: Ensure Timely Follow-Up on Customer Feedback

Reviews Due Diligence helps teams respond quickly to customer feedback, especially when it matters most.

With these updates, you can:

  • Automatically assign review follow-ups based on rating thresholds and location settings, ensuring low-rated reviews are addressed quickly

  • Assign due diligence to a specific user, creating clear ownership and accountability for every review

  • Enable or disable notifications by location, giving teams flexibility in how alerts are managed across the organization

  • Receive email notifications when a review is assigned, whether through automatic or manual assignment

  • Reassign, unassign, or mark due diligence as resolved, making it easy to manage follow-ups as workflows evolve

  • Add internal notes to provide context and track actions taken on each review

  • Identify auto-assigned follow-ups in the UI, improving visibility into how reviews are being managed

These enhancements ensure that no review goes unnoticed, helping your team respond faster, stay organized, and protect your online reputation.
