Resetting a Password

Follow the steps below if you've forgotten your password or need to reset another user's password.

Additionally, if you have received an invitation to join Apploi, ensure you use the email address that received the invitation to log in for the first time.

Logging in After Receiving an Invitation

When you receive an invitation to join Apploi, it’s important to follow the correct steps to log in and resolve any potential login issues. Below is a comprehensive guide to help you through the process.

  1. Use the Invited Email Address: Always use the same email address that received the invitation to create your account. This email address is linked to your Apploi account.

  2. Reset Your Password: If you haven’t already, reset your password using the “Forgot Password” option on the login page. Once reset, use the invited email address and the new password to log in.

Resetting Your Own Password

To reset your own password, go to Apploi's homepage and click on the Sign In button on the top right corner of the page.

Next, click on the Forgot Password? button.

Type in your email that is associated with your Apploi account and click on the Send Email button. This will send you an email with a link to reset your password.

Ensure that you use the exact email address that received the invitation to avoid login issues.

If you don’t receive the reset password email within a few minutes, check your Spam/Junk folder as it may have been filtered out. You can learn more about managing email deliverability issues here. Additionally, double-check the email address you are entering for typos or errors, and take note of any error messages that appear as they can assist in troubleshooting. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Apploi’s support team with the email address you’re using and any error messages you’ve encountered.

Resetting a Password for Another User

If you are a Super Admin in Apploi you can reset passwords for other users. To do so, click on the admin menu and click on Users and Access to see a list of users that have access to Apploi.

Once you locate the user who needs their password reset, hover over the Actions column and click on the Key icon. From here, you have the option to leave the toggle on if you'd like for the user to receive an email with the new password, or you can turn the toggle off to generate a password and send it to the user separately.
