Your guide to AI credits: what they do, how many you have, and how to get more when you need them

What are AI credits?

AI credits are like fuel for Atria's AI features. Every time you generate an ad, use AI-powered reporting features, or use AI insights to analyze a competitor, you're spending credits. Think of them as tokens - different features "cost" different amounts depending on how much AI brainpower they need.

Want to see how many credits you have left? Just check the credit tracker. You can open a modal as well.

Remember, credits associated with your plan reset monthly on your billing date. When you buy additional credits, they don't expire.

Which Atria features use AI credits?

You'll use AI credits when you:

  • Generate ad images

  • Transcribe videos

  • Create video scripts

  • Analyze URLs to generate briefs

  • Analyze an ad in your account with Radar

  • Mine customer reviews

  • Upload assets to the asset library (coming soon! One-time cost to use AI to tag your images)

The cost varies depending on how complex the task is and the cost of the AI model we're using.

How do I know how many AI credits an action will cost?

You can hover over any button for an AI feature to see exactly how many credits an action will cost:

Check Atria's pricing page to explore different credit amounts for each plan.

Credits associated with your plan refresh monthly on your billing date; they don't carry over to the next month.

Running low? Top up on credits anytime

No need to upgrade your whole plan to add AI credits to your account. And any extra credits you buy never expire.

Here's how it works:

  1. Click the AI credit icon in the left panel

  2. Click "Buy credits"

  3. Pick your credit package

  4. Credits are instantly added to your account

Troubleshooting

We rarely see these issues, but in case this happens to you, here's what we recommend:

"My AI image generation failed, and it still cost me credits"

That's frustrating! Shoot us an email at support@tryatria.com with details about what happened. We usually refund credits when there's a confirmed technical hiccup.

"I have no idea how many credits I actually need"

Start by using that hover feature to see costs (image generation tends to be the most AI-credit heavy feature), then think about your typical monthly workflow. When in doubt, start conservative. You can always buy more!
