Raya, your AI creative strategist, can generate static image ads for you in three ways. Each starts from a different place,
but they all produce on-brand creatives you can review, edit, and launch.
Auto-Gen: Automatic weekly ad variations
Auto-Gen looks at your Winners and High iteration potential ads in Radar and automatically generates fresh image variations every week. No manual work required. Just review what Raya creates and launch what looks good.
What you get
Every week, Raya delivers up to 4 sets of image ads (12 images + AI insights per set) based on your best performers. Each variation comes with an AI analysis explaining why it could work, along with targeting recommendations, messaging suggestions, and creative tags.
How to set it up
1. Go to the Analytics tab and select your ad account. Near the top of the overview page, you’ll see the “Your ad iterations delivered” section. This is where Raya delivers your weekly batches, showing the original ad alongside the new versions she generated.
2. Click the auto-gen settings gear icon in the section header to open Auto-Gen settings. From here you can:
Set your schedule: Choose the day of the week and time Raya generates new ads.
Enable per account: Toggle Auto-Gen on or off for each individual ad account (currently available for Meta accounts only).
3. Click Confirm to save your settings.
Credit cost: Each Auto-Gen set costs 480 credits (12 images + AI insights). Unused image credits are refunded automatically. You can turn Auto-Gen off anytime.
How to review and edit
1. In the “Your ad iterations delivered” section, click on any variation set to see every image in the batch. You can also click All creations to jump to the Creation tab where all your generated projects are stored.
2. To generate more variations, click Generate more.
3. To edit an individual image, click on it to open the detail view. Use Adjust to describe changes, or Resize to change the ratio. You can also edit the concept details directly and regenerate.
4. Download the finished creative when you’re happy with it.
✨ Pro tip: Leave Auto-Gen enabled and check your iteration delivery each week. Raya bases each new batch on your latest Radar data, so the creatives get sharper over time.
Clone Ad: Turn competitor ads into your own
See a competitor ad that’s crushing it? Raya can clone it and generate new versions tailored to your brand. This works on static image ads you find anywhere in Atria: the Inspo tab, your competitor feeds, or your saved boards.
How to clone an ad
1. Go to the Inspo tab and find a static image ad you want to clone. You can search by brand name, keyword, or use the filters (Format, Video length, Platform, Industry, Status, Language, Theme). Sorting by “Longest running” is a good way to find what’s working best.
2. Hover over the ad and click Clone Ad. This opens a two-step wizard (Context, then Image ads).
Step 1: Set your context
3. Choose your brand from the dropdown. This pulls in your logo, colors, and brand details. If you haven’t created a brand yet, click + Create brand at the bottom of the dropdown.
Creating a brand: You can either paste your website URL and click Generate to auto-fill the fields, or fill them in manually: Brand logo, Brand name, Industry/Vertical, Website, Product/Service description, Target audience, and Additional information.
4. Set your ad brief. You have two options: paste a product or service page URL and click Generate to have Raya auto-generate a brief, or enter it manually. The brief includes fields like Product/Service name, Ad objective, Description, USP, Target audience, Tone of voice, Platform, and more.
5. Choose the output language for your ad.
6. Upload your logo and product images (up to 4). Use PNG, JPG, or JPEG under 5 MB each. Raya will try to scrape from the URL you give her, or she will pull from the assets you’ve uploaded to your brand profile.
7. Set your style. Adjust your brand colors (required - Raya will try to pull these in for you, you can also provide an exact hex value) and brand fonts (headline and body, with font weight). If your brand fonts aren’t in the dropdown, check the “Can’t find my brand fonts” box.
8. Choose your image ratio (1:1, 4:5, or 9:16) and batch size, then click Generate image ads.
Step 2: Review and edit your image ads
9. Raya generates your ads and displays them in a grid. You’ll see your selected ratio and batch count in the top right corner. Click Generate more if you want additional variations.
10. Click on any ad to open the detail view. On the right, you’ll see an Actions panel with two options:
Adjust: Describe the changes you want and Raya will regenerate the ad.
Resize: Change the image ratio and regenerate.
Below the Actions panel, you’ll see the full brief that Raya generated: the concept name, reference ad, and detailed concept specs (layout, visual direction, text, tone, logo placement, and colors). You can edit any of these fields and click
Generate image ads to regenerate with your changes.
Use the icons at the top of the detail view to rate the ad (thumbs up/down), download it, or delete it.
✨ Pro tip: The more specific your ad brief, the better your results. If you use the URL auto-generate option, review the brief and tweak anything that doesn’t feel right before generating.
Iterate from Radar: Turn performance data into new ads
Radar grades your creatives and identifies ads with iteration potential. Instead of just reading those recommendations, you can click a button and have Raya generate new image ads based on them.
How to iterate from Radar
1. Go to the Analytics tab, click into your ad account, and select Radar in the left-hand nav.
2. Navigate to the High iteration potential or Iteration candidates tab to find ads that Raya thinks could perform better with changes.
3. You have two paths to iterate:
Quick iterate: Click the Iterate dropdown on any ad in the table. You’ll see Raya’s analysis of the ad and an AI recommendation button. Click it to generate new ads directly (8 credits per iteration).
Detailed iterate: Click on an ad to open the detail view. Switch to the AI Recommendation tab to see Raya’s full analysis: Performance summary, Persona tags, Top Issues Identified, and prioritized Recommendations (with metrics impacted and examples). Click Iterate ads next to the Recommendations section.
4. When you click Iterate, Raya opens an Ad context modal. She automatically pulls the ad’s landing page URL and starts generating an ad brief from it. You can also enter a brief manually or edit the auto-generated one.
5. Review and adjust: your logo, product images (up to 4), brand colors, brand fonts, image ratio, and batch size. Then click Generate image ads.
6. New creatives will appear in the Creation tab under Image Ads. You don’t need to wait on the page.
✨ Pro tip: Check Radar weekly. It’s the fastest way to know what to scale, what to kill, and what to iterate on, all without digging through Ads Manager.
Keep your ads on-brand
All three generation methods use your brand profile to stay on-brand. Here’s how to make sure Raya has what she needs:
Logo: There’s a dedicated logo field in the generation flow (separate from product images). Raya places your logo intelligently based on the ad composition, so it looks natural in every variation.
Brand colors: Raya detects your brand colors from your website, but you can adjust them manually for more control.
Product imagery: Upload your own high-quality product photos for the best results. Raya can scrape images from your product URL, but your own photos will always produce better output.
Landing page context: When you provide a product page URL (or when iterating from Radar), Raya pulls landing page context to generate more relevant creatives.
