Let us be straight with you about this one up front, because it's where nearly every Google Ads question we get actually comes from: the Google Ads connector is a Raya connector. It lets Raya read your Google Ads data so she can answer questions and build reports on it. It is not the same as connecting a Meta or TikTok ad account.
That distinction matters more than it sounds, so it's worth two more sentences. When you connect Meta or TikTok, that account flows into Atria properly — the Analytics dashboards, your custom reports, Radar grading your creative. Google Ads doesn't do that yet. Connect it and Raya can talk to your Google Ads data; your dashboards and Radar stay Meta and TikTok.
We'd much rather tell you that now than have you connect it and wonder why nothing appeared.
What you get out of it
With Google Ads connected, Raya can reach into it the same way she reaches into your other tools — so you can ask her about Google performance in plain English, pull it into a report, and have it land alongside the rest of your reporting rather than living in a separate tab.
For anyone running Meta and Google side by side, that's the real win: one place to ask the question, instead of stitching two exports together. It's also why agencies tend to get more out of this than brands do — the reporting consolidation is the point.
Before you start
You'll need access to the Google Ads account you want to connect, with permission to authorise a third-party tool against it.
How to connect
Open the Raya tab and click the connector icons under Ask me anything to open your Connectors page (or go straight to
app.tryatria.com/workspace/raya/connectors).
Find the Google Ads connector and click Connect.
2. Complete Google's sign-in and authorise access.
Getting Raya to actually use it
Here's a genuinely useful trick, and it comes straight from our engineering team. Raya sometimes doesn't register that Google Ads is connected — you'll have connected it perfectly well and she'll tell you she can't see it.
The fix is to say so explicitly. Ask her "Tell me about my Google Ads using the connector", and she'll go and use it.
What it doesn't do yet
Worth saying plainly, because these come up:
It's not an ad account. Google Ads data doesn't appear in the Analytics dashboards or custom reports the way Meta and TikTok do.
Radar doesn't grade Google Ads creative. Radar is Meta and TikTok.
Choosing which account connects. Agencies that manage several Google Ads accounts have told us there's no way to pick which one connects, or to tie the connection to a particular brand. If that's you, flag it with us — it's on our radar internally and the more voices the better.
If something goes wrong
Reconnecting from the Connectors page fixes most things. If Raya still can't see it, try the "using the connector" phrasing above before assuming it's broken.
If you're stuck, just shout — send us what Raya says back and we'll chase it down.
