Overview

Managing events in Audience Republic means keeping your event and ticketing information up to date, which helps you:

  • Maintain an accurate and current contact database

  • Improve audience segmentation—for example, by including or excluding contacts based on past ticket purchases

  • Track ticket sale conversions more effectively

This guide will walk you through how to create, edit, and manage your events.

Note: If your Audience Republic account is connected to a ticketing integration, there's no need to create events manually. To learn more about creating events by importing data or importing ticket sales data to existing events, check out this help article.

Creating an event (manually)

  1. Access the events menu:

    • Log in to your Audience Republic account.

    • Navigate to the Events section from the dashboard.

  2. Initiate event creation:

    • Click on the + New Event button.

  3. Enter event details:

    • Fill in the necessary information:

      • Event Name: Provide a clear and descriptive name.

      • Location: Specify the venue or city.

      • Capacity: Indicate the maximum number of attendees.

      • Start and End Dates/Times: Set the schedule for the event.

      • Event Image: Upload a representative image for the event.

  4. Save the event:

    • After entering all details, click Save Event to finalise the creation.

Editing or deleting an event

Editing an event

  1. Locate the event:

    • In the Events menu, find the event you wish to modify or remove.

  2. Edit the event:

    • Click the ⋮ (More Options) icon next to the event.

    • Select Edit.

    • Update the desired details.

    • Click Save Event to apply changes.

    Advanced settings

Once you're inside an event, click the Advanced Settings option in the top-right corner. From there, you can either assign a tag to all ticket purchasers or add them directly to a list. These options help keep your Audience Table and lists organized and up to date. Any changes made will apply to both past and future ticket purchasers for the event.

    Delete an event

    • Click the ⋮ (More Options) icon next to the event.

    • Select Delete.

    • Confirm the deletion when prompted.
