Before you start

To create a campaign, you’ll first need:

  • An event created in your Audience Republic account

  • Your campaign assets ready: images, reward details, brand colours

  • Awareness that Spotify login won’t work if the campaign is embedded in a widget

Step-by-step: create a campaign

  1. Go to the Campaigns menu

  2. Click Create campaign

  3. Select your campaign type: Presale, Ballot, Competition, or Waitlist

  4. Choose an existing event, or click Create new event

  5. Click Setup the campaign to begin

Step 1: Campaign details

  • Add a campaign Headline and Description

  • Set registration close and ticket on-sale dates

  • Upload an image (recommended: 1200x628px)

  • Optional: upload a video (MP4, or link from YouTube/Vimeo)

  • Choose your campaign colour (HEX or RGB)

  • Scroll down to Advanced settings Under Default Language, click the arrow and select the language (if not English)

Click Next

Step 2: Registration fields

  • Select which fields to capture (email is always required)

  • Add additional fields by clicking +Add field

  • To add custom fields (e.g. genre preference), click +Add custom field

  • Optionally enable Spotify login

  • If you have gamified campaigns enabled, you can ensure only verified contacts register by toggling email verification ON. (Fans receive an email with a unique verification code which they must enter the code to complete registration)

Click Next

Step 3: Rewards (Gamified only)

  • Add a rewards headline and description

  • Create tiers using Paid ticket or Prize

    • For tickets: name and price

    • For prizes: name, description, image (optional), and value

  • Set the number of winners, or mark for all registrants

  • Click Add another tier to add more

Click Next

Step 4: Social – Share (Gamified only)

  • Add a Share title and description

  • Preview the social post appearance

  • Choose the platforms fans can use to share

Click Next

Step 5: Social – Invite friends (Gamified only)

  • Choose which invite channels to offer (Instagram is only available on mobile)

  • Update the Referral Points value by clicking Show Settings

    • This applies across all share channels

    • Max points value: 100

  • Changes save automatically

Click Next

Step 6: Social – Follow & Connect (Gamified only)

  • Add social account links for fans to follow (e.g. Instagram, Spotify, Twitter). Shorten the URL so only the channel ID is shown at the end

  • Click Add another account for partner or artist accounts

  • Allow fans to connect Spotify/Twitter to earn more points

  • Adjust the Referral Points for the platform

Click Finish to complete campaign setup

  • Prioritise actions that support your campaign goals (e.g. shares, follows, data collection)

  • Don’t award max points to every action — keep some high-value actions exclusive

  • Test your flow before going live to ensure links and labels are working

Edit a campaign

You can make changes to a campaign at any time.

  1. Go to Campaigns

  2. Find your campaign and click the menu

  3. Select Edit campaign

  4. Navigate through the steps to update content

Duplicate a campaign

Useful for tours or similar repeat events.

  1. Go to the Events menu and create a new event

  2. In the Campaigns menu, find the campaign you want to copy

  3. Click the menu > Duplicate

  4. Click Edit campaign to update the new copy

Change the associated event

To link a campaign to a different event:

  1. Duplicate the campaign (steps above)

  2. Select the new event during setup

  3. Edit details and publish

View your campaign link

Your shareable campaign URL is visible from the campaign dashboard. Use this to promote the campaign via email, socials, and paid ads.

Delete or close a campaign

While campaigns cannot be deleted entirely, you can:

  • Close registrations by editing the end date

  • Archive the campaign after completion

  • Remove promotion links if no longer in use

Customise the success page

  • Go to Step 1: Setup in your campaign

  • Scroll to the bottom and click Show advanced settings

  • Find the Success Page Settings section

  • Tick Enable custom success button

  • Add:

    • Message text above the button

    • Button text

    • Destination URL for the CTA

This is a great place to link to merch, another campaign, your tour dates, or artist socials.

Please note this feature is available for Gamified campaigns only. Fans do not receive points for clicking this button and there is no preview — to test, register as a fan and walk through the campaign.

Add Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy

Ensure you're meeting data and privacy requirements by including legal content in your campaign setup.

  • In the campaign setup, scroll to the Legal section

  • Add URLs to your Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy

  • These will be shown during the registration process

Where to add legal links

  1. In your campaign setup, go to Step 1: Set Up Campaign

  2. Scroll to the Advanced Settings section

  3. Under Privacy and Compliance, insert your policy name and URL

  4. Add:

    1. Terms & Conditions URL

    2. Privacy Policy URL

These will appear as clickable links on the registration form.
