Adding your employees:
Go to your ‘Employee’ tab on the scheduler
On the top left corner click the ‘Add New User’ button
First enter your internal Full-Time and Part-Time employees; First Name, Last Name, and contact information
Then select the employees Position, Staff Type, employment status and shift type. Lastly confirm the number of weeks this schedule rotations are, before clicking ‘add’ on the bottom right
Next you can enter your employees’ Mater schedule, Click the ‘plus’ icon on any scheduled workday and enter their shift start and end time, and assign their specific unit or leave them as a ‘Float’ employee if they do not have a specific unit assigned before clicking the checkmark to confirm this shift rotation. You can add a double shift easily by clicking the ‘plus’ Icon or copy this day's shift details and paste it to the rest of their master schedule.
Now you want to add your Per-Diem and agency staff, when adding you PRN employees select the employment status called ‘PRN’, when saving the profile, instead of prompting you to add their master schedule it will prompt you to add any specific shift pickups.
To add an agency employee, when selecting your Staff type, just select from the dropdown options which agency this employee belongs to and once again straight to adding their specific shift pickups.
When adding a new hire on orientation, let’s toggle Orientation on, enter start date with today’s date, enter end date with their expected end date, then hit save. Next it will now prompt you to enter their master rotation which will only go into effect once they complete orientation.
