Adding Shift pickups from the Employees Profile

This step is to add any of your internal employees shift pickups as well as any agency employee shifts if applicable.

To add your internal employees, shift pickups:

  1. Let's go to the employee's tab

  2. Search for the applicable employee

  3. Click on their orange ‘shift’ button on the right side

  4. From this tab you can add shift pickups by selecting the calendar and choosing one or multiple dates this employee would like to pick up

  5. Then click the apply button

  6. Now select the assigned unit, start and end time of this shift pickup.

  7. You can either copy this detail to another shift or just select the ‘confirm’ button.

To recognize which shifts are pickups vs. Their master rotation shift, you will notice first that ONLY shift pickups have this ‘trash can’ icon on the right side, which you can click to delete the shift, as master schedule shifts cannot be canceled only called our or on leave.

You will also notice that these shift pickups, do not have a star on the left side of the date.

To add a shift pickup for an agency employee:

  1. If they have an existing profile;

  2. From the employee's tab, click on the ‘Agency’ button on the top center

  3. Search for the applicable clinician profile

  4. Follow the same process as above from their ‘shift’ page by selecting the dates and enter their assigned unit, shift start and end time than click confirm.
