Platform Overview

AwardSpring's main navigation menu gives you access to everything you need to run your program, laid out as a single list down the left side of your screen. Here's what each item does, top to bottom.

The AwardSpring admin sidebar, showing Dashboard as the first and active item above the full list of navigation items, with no group headers.

Dashboard is the first item and where you land when you log in. It gives you a bird's-eye view of your current award cycle, so you can jump straight to whatever needs attention regardless of which stage you're in.

Scholarships, Users, and Review

This is where you'll spend most of your time as an Admin, configuring and managing your program before your award cycle opens and once it's underway. That includes creating and managing scholarships, users, and the review process. Reports is where you'll build and run reports on all of it, and Application is where you'll customize the general application to your needs.

Funds and Donors

Funds is where you'll set up and manage the funds your scholarships draw from, and Donors is where you'll manage your donor records.

Note: If you've also purchased Donor Management, Donors expands to let you collect gifts, track donations, run donor and giving reports, and send donor notifications.

Tasks, Texting, and Emails

Tasks is where you'll track internal to-dos for yourself or your team, as well as scholarship-related tasks completed by students the awarding process and beyond. When you need to reach applicants directly, Emails lets you send email, and Texting lets you send texts if you have that feature activated.

Settings

Settings is where you'll configure the smaller touches that make your AwardSpring site your own—your home page, logo, background image, and brand color, so applicant dashboards reflect your institution. And if you ever need a refresher on a feature, the Help Center is always one click away.
