Setting How Far in Advance Customers Can Book

Learn how to set how far in advance customers can book your “By Appointments” sessions.

You can now decide how far in advance people can make a booking. For example, if you only want to allow bookings up to 2 months ahead, you can set this limit easily.

This feature is available only for “By Appointments” availability.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to your appointment settings and add time slots.

  2. Before saving, go to Rules tab and find Bookable up to option

  3. Select the number of months customers can book in advance.

  4. Click Save.

On the same Rules page, you can also configure the following settings:

  • Buffer Time – Add extra time between appointments for preparation, cleaning, or setup. This can also be overridden for individual time slots.

  • Notice Period – Set the minimum amount of notice required before a customer can book an appointment.

  • Availability Rules – Choose how booked appointments affect your availability:

    • Do not block availability once time is requested – Other events can still be booked during the same time.

    • Block availability once time is requested for this booking – Prevent overlapping bookings for this appointment only.

    • Block time once time is requested for any of my events – Block the selected time across all of your events, preventing double bookings.
