Booking with Baluu is designed to be quick and straightforward. Customers can complete a booking in just a few steps without creating an account or registering first.
No Account Required
Customers do not need to create an account or register before making a booking. This helps reduce friction during checkout and allows customers to book quickly.
There are several ways customers can access your bookings:
Option 1: Baluu-hosted booking page
If you use a Baluu-hosted booking page, customers simply visit your booking page, browse your available classes or events, and click Book Now on the activity they'd like to attend.
Option 2: Embed bookings into your own website
If you already have your own website, you can use Baluu to power your bookings while keeping customers on your site.
For example, you might have a page describing one of your classes with a Book Now button. You can link or embed the corresponding Baluu booking page, so when customers click Book Now, they're taken directly to that specific booking checkout.
You can also embed other Baluu pages into your website, including:
Your Timetable, allowing customers to browse all upcoming sessions.
A specific listing for an individual class or event.
Other Baluu booking pages, depending on how you'd like customers to browse and book your activities.
This gives you the flexibility to use your own website for marketing while letting Baluu handle the booking and payment process.
The Booking Process
Booking an event, class or activity is simple:
Browse the available events, classes or activities.
Click Book Now on the listing you'd like to attend.
Choose a booking option (if applicable), such as a standard ticket, bundle, or membership, before continuing to checkout.
Select the date, session or time (if applicable).
Choose the ticket or pricing option.
Answer any booking questions you've configured.
Option to proceed to Checkout or Add to Basket
Enter contact details.
Review the booking summary.
Complete payment (if required) by clicking Pay.
Once payment is successful (or the booking is confirmed for free events), the customer will receive a booking confirmation email.
If customers need to make changes to their booking, they can click Manage Booking in their booking confirmation email or log in to your customer portal using a secure one-time code (no password required).
From there, they can view and manage their bookings, bundles, memberships, and gift cards. The actions available—such as cancelling, rescheduling, or requesting changes—depend on the booking policies you've configured for your listing, including cancellation windows, reschedule rules, and refund policies.
