Early Bird Discount

Use Early Bird Discounts to automatically reduce ticket prices for customers who book in advance. This is ideal for rewarding early bookings, encouraging customers to commit sooner, and helping secure attendance ahead of the event date.

If you wish to give your customers an early bird discount — for example, customers receive a percentage discount when they book a session a certain number of days in advance — you can set this up using Price Modifications in Tickets V2.

Step 1 — Open Your Ticket Settings

Go to your event or session and create or edit a ticket.

Inside the ticket settings, locate the Price Modifications section and click Add Price Modification

Then select Early Bird Discount

Step 2 — Configure the Discount

You can now configure your early bird rule.

Name

Give your discount a name, for example:

  • Early Bird Discount

  • Advance Booking Offer

  • Book Early & Save

Action

Choose how the discount should apply.

Example:

  • Decrease by %

  • Value: 10

This means customers receive a 10% discount.

Step 3 — Set the Conditions

Under Conditions, select:

Booked at least X days before event

Then choose the minimum number of days in advance required.

Example:

  • Minimum days before event: 14

This means:

  • Customers booking 14 or more days before the event receive the discount

  • Customers booking later will pay the normal ticket price

Click Add Rule

The early bird discount will now automatically apply during checkout when the conditions are met.

Stackable with other discounts

Enable this if you want customers to combine this discount with other promotions or coupon codes.

Priority

Priority controls which pricing rule is applied first when multiple pricing modifications exist.
