Booking Questions on Baluu allow you to find out more information about your customers before they check out.
These questions can be required fields for customers during checkout.
Try to ask concise questions that will help your event run smoothly on the day.

Logic depending on question or answer!
You can choose what happens to the customer after each question, or even depending on the answer they select. HOWEVER you must first create all your questions and their options, and then go back in to choose how you want the customer to be directed. Until you have created all the questions and options, you will not be able to select the correct questions from the dropdown list.
Example: Using Specific Question Logic
Main Question (Single Select)
What topic are you most interested in?
Set the Next Click Behavior to:
Specific question
This allows each answer to direct the customer to a different follow-up question.
Example Setup
Option | Targeted Question |
Vegetable gardening | What vegetables would you like to learn to grow? |
Flower gardening | When would you like to plant your seasonal flowers? |
Indoor plants | How many indoor plants do you currently own? |
Important
When creating the targeted questions, make sure their behavior is set correctly.
If you set them to Next question, the form will continue to the next question automatically after the customer answers.
If you want the form to stop after that question, set the behavior to End form.
Best Practice
Use Specific question when you want to create a more personalised booking flow and ask follow-up questions based on the customer's selection.
What is display options?
Ah, another piece of the puzzle. This allows you to either show all questions in one go, or one after the other. In general, if you have no logic built into your questions, we recommend having them set to Show all questions together. However, if you have any logic in your customer information form, you will have to select Show questions one at a time, as they are completed for it to work effectively.
Once you are happy with your questions, click 'Save Changes'.
