Global activity settings of Designer

Configure standards that apply to all courses using the Designer format and defaults that apply to newly created instances.

About

You find the global activity settings for Designer in Site administration > Plugins > Course formats > Designer Format > General settings and then in the tab Activity.

There are two types of settings here:

  • Standard global settings โ€“ These affect all course instances immediately. Displayed bold and include an explanation of the setting.

  • Default settings โ€“ These apply only to instances created after the default is set. They can:

    • be marked as advanced, which hides them behind the โ€œShow more...โ€ link in the instance settings.

    • be changed later at course level.
