About

You find the global section settings for Designer in Site administration > Plugins > Course formats > Designer Format > General settings and then in the tab Section.

There are two types of settings here:

  • Standard global settings โ€“ These affect all course instances immediately. Displayed bold and include an explanation of the setting.

  • Default settings โ€“ These apply only to instances created after the default is set. They can:

    • be marked as advanced, which hides them behind the โ€œShow more...โ€ link in the instance settings.

    • be changed later at course level.
