Upgrading Dash to a higher tier is a seamless process, whether you are moving from Basic to Premium or between any other tiers. All your existing Dash data, including already configured blocks and dashboards, remain intact during the upgrade process.
How to upgrade to a higher tier
To upgrade your installation, follow these steps:
Download the latest installation package from your dedicated download area on bdecent.de.
Follow the steps outlined in the Dash installation guide to complete the upgrade process.
Important: Always update both the block and the local plugin during the upgrade to ensure full version compatibility.
First steps after upgrading
Each higher tier includes additional features, widgets, and data sources. After the installation is complete, perform the following actions:
Manage the new addons – Navigate to the manage addons page to enable and configure the new components included in your tier.
Configure global settings – Check the global settings for any newly added widgets or data sources to define site–wide defaults.
