About
After you install Dash, it usually works right out of the box on Moodle LMS. Dash blocks can be immediately added and configured on your pages.
However, it is recommended to review and configure global settings and defaults before rolling out the plugin. This helps ensure that only the necessary components are enabled and that their default behavior aligns with your specific requirements.
Note: Actual available settings depend on your installed Dash tier.
Recommended initial configuration
Follow these steps to ensure Dash is correctly set up for your site:
Verify which widgets and data sources are enabled. You may want to hide specific addons to simplify the interface for creators or check if any functional dependencies (like the Magic plugin) are required.
It is critical to ensure the theme bootstrap version matches your specific Moodle theme.
Manage the redirect for the course index.
Configure widget and data source defaults
βReview the specific global settings for the components you plan to use to ensure they work as intended.
Note: We also offer a complete overview of all available global settings.
