What can I do from the Listings page?
The Listings page shows all your active and inactive listings. You can activate and deactivate a listing using the toggle button on the left. The page also includes the following features.
Sandbox
The Sandbox is a testing area where you can experiment with the AI to see how it handles different types of responses. It has two modes:
Demo mode — faster, and only aware of the most recent question.
Live mode — slower. It runs Besty's live autopilot system, including all safeguards, and processes the entire conversation to answer questions, exactly as it would with a real guest.
What Besty knows
This shows the AI's brain based on the listing you have selected. See the article "How does the Knowledge Base work, and what should I add to it?" for details on sources and what to add.
Messaging fields
The messaging field is where you create custom Besty variables. If you don't have variables set up in your PMS, they can be set up within Besty.
Check-in / Check-out
This is where you set the earliest and latest check-out times, for all listings or for selected listings. This information is used to pull the earliest and latest check-out times.
Upsell fees
This is where you can add extra fees for selling upsells to guests — for example, an early cleaning fee or inspection fee to get a room ready earlier, costs for rescheduling staff, and more. Most users don't use this feature, but it's available if needed.
Owners
The Owner page lets you set up communication with your listing owners directly through Besty. Once configured, owners can contact you through the system, making it easier to manage conversations in one place.
When an owner sends you a message, Besty identifies them in your Unified Inbox, so you can clearly see the message is coming from the listing owner. This keeps owner communication organized alongside your other messages.
