Understanding deposits and payment plans

Understand what a deposit covers, what is charged at checkout, and when the remaining balance is due.

How deposits work for buyers

A deposit lets you secure an eligible order by paying part of the item total at checkout. Beventi will then set up a schedule for your remaining payments and send you reminders when it's time to pay each installment. Each seller chooses whether deposits are available and sets the payment terms.

What you pay at checkout

You pay the deposit toward the items, plus any shipping and applicable fees shown at checkout. The remainder becomes your outstanding item balance.

Review the full order total, the amount due today, and the future payment schedule before confirming your order.

Check the seller's deposit policy

The seller's deposit policy is shown before checkout. Read it carefully because it explains the seller's refund and cancellation terms.

Paying a deposit does not create a general promise that the deposit is refundable or non-refundable. The policy shown for your specific order determines your refund eligibility.

Paying the remaining balance

Depending on the order, you can pay the remaining balance in one payment or split it into three equal remaining payments. Beventi will calculate the schedule for you between the order date and that deadline using the order form's timezone.

(If there is only a short time before the final deadline, more than one payment may share that deadline.) You can also open your order and make an eligible payment early.
Note: Your card will not be charged automatically, you must initiate each payment yourself.

Making a payment

Beventi does not automatically charge your card or save your card details. To pay:

  1. Open the secure link in a payment reminder, or sign in and open your order.

  2. Review the amount due.

  3. Complete the payment using your preferred available payment method.

FAQ
