Set up your Easyship ship-from address
Your ship-from address is the origin used to calculate live rates and create shipping labels. Keep it accurate so Easyship can quote the correct route and show the right carrier services.
Open ship-from settings
In Beventi, open Integrations > Easyship.
Select Ship from.
The address marked In use is the address Beventi sends to Easyship for rates and labels.
Import an address from Easyship
Select Import from Easyship.
Review the available Easyship addresses.
Select the address or addresses you want.
Confirm the import.
Make the correct address In use.
Importing is useful when your warehouse or studio address is already maintained in Easyship.
Add an address manually
Select Add address.
Enter the contact name, business name where applicable, street address, city, state or region, postcode and country.
Add a phone number that a carrier can use for shipment questions.
Save the address.
Select Make in use if this is the origin you want to use.
Use a physical collection address. A carrier may not accept a PO box as the origin for every service.
Example
If books are packed at your Melbourne studio but your company is registered at another address, use the Melbourne studio as the ship-from address. The quote must start from the place where the parcel will actually enter the carrier network.
Change the address in use
Find the saved address you want.
Select Make in use.
Run a new test quote on each important order form.
Changing the origin can change available carriers, prices and delivery estimates. Existing quotes shown earlier were calculated with the previous origin.
Edit or delete an address
You can edit a manually created address from the same page. Imported Easyship addresses can be re-imported when their provider-managed details change.
If you delete the address in use and another saved address is available, Beventi promotes another address. Check which one is now marked In use before quoting again.
FAQ
Can different order forms use different ship-from addresses?
The Easyship integration uses the account-level address marked In use. Changing it affects new quotes and labels across the seller profile.
Why does my city or postcode matter?
Easyship uses the origin and destination together to find carrier services and calculate prices.
Should I use my return address?
Use the address where parcels are handed to the carrier. If your returns go somewhere else, manage that separately in your carrier or Easyship settings.
