Test an Easyship shipping quote
Use the live-rate tester before launching an order form and whenever products, packages or shipping settings change. It will send the selected basket and destination through the same quote path used at checkout.
Open the quote tester
Open the order form or wholesale listing.
Open Delivery or Shipping > Live rates.
Select Test rates.
Enter a destination
Search for an address or enter it manually. A complete destination normally includes the following:
Country.
Street address.
City or locality.
Postcode where the destination uses one.
State or region where required.
You can also choose one of the example destinations to make a quick first check. Use a real delivery address for your final test because carrier availability can vary within the same city.
Build the test basket
Select a product.
Choose a variant where required.
For a bundle, choose any required child variants.
Set the quantity.
Add other products that belong in the scenario.
Select Get rates.
The tester quotes only the basket you build. It does not automatically add every product on the order form.
Useful test scenarios
Test baskets that reflect real orders, for example:
One paperback to a nearby domestic address.
Two paperbacks to a rural or interstate address.
One hardback plus one paperback in the same basket.
A boxed set to an international address.
Products from two custom shipping profiles in one basket.
Read the results
A successful result will show:
Carrier and service.
Shipping price.
Estimated delivery time where Easyship supplies it.
Cheapest or fastest markers.
Duties or international-delivery information.
Separate shipment groups when different profiles apply.
Review every shipment group, not only the lowest total. A mixed basket may be packed or quoted separately because of its profile rules.
Understand backup-only results
If Easyship cannot supply a usable live quote, the tester may show your saved backup rates. This confirms the buyer still has an option, but it does not confirm that live carrier rates are working.
Open the diagnostics shown with the result and fix the named issue before launch.
Run the quote again after changes
Changing the address or basket makes the previous result out of date. Select Get rates again after you change any of the following:
Destination.
Product or variant.
Quantity.
Package selection.
Product measurements or customs data.
Ship-from address.
Shipping profile rules.

Does a test quote buy a label or charge my Easyship wallet?
No. It requests rates only.
Why does the quote differ from a previous test?
Carrier pricing and availability can change. Also compare the exact address, basket, package selection and shipment profiles used in each test.
Why do I see more than one shipment?
Products in different shipping profiles or fulfillment groups can be quoted separately.
Should I test only the cheapest service?
No. Check whether the full set of services, prices and delivery estimates makes sense for the buyer experience you want.
