Room pins connect the rooms used by your schedule to their positions on a map. Use the existing schedule room when you want readers to find a session's location.

Use Add a room or Manage rooms if the room does not exist yet. A room can have one pin on each map and can appear on several maps, such as an overview and a detailed floor plan.

Pins save automatically. On a live map, saved pin changes are available to readers after saving; they may need to reload or refresh to see them. There is no separate schedule-publication step for pins.

Choose Suggest pins to look for existing room names on the plan. Amber pins are suggestions, not confirmed locations. Review them one by one with Accept or Dismiss, or use Accept all and correct any misplaced pins.

Use Include placed rooms when you also want suggestions for rooms already pinned. A PDF with selectable text may produce better suggestions than a scanned or low-resolution plan. If names are not found, place the pins manually.

Select the pin and use Move, or drag it to the correct position. Use Remove pin to remove its map position. Removing a pin does not delete the schedule room or its sessions.

Why does the room not open on the map from a session?

Check that the session uses the same schedule room, that this room has an accepted pin, and that the reader can access a live map containing it. A place with the same name is not a room link.

What happens if I delete the room?

Its room pins are removed. Reassigning sessions to another room does not transfer the deleted room's pins; pin the replacement room where it belongs.

What if I see “Couldn't save”?

Use Retry and wait for Saved. Do not assume a pin reached readers while saving has failed.
