You can disconnect Bookvault whenever you like. New orders stop going to Bookvault. Orders it already has keep printing, and Bookvault still bills you for them. If Beventi ever loses access to your account, reconnecting is quick, and your links and settings will still be there.
Before you disconnect
Check whether Bookvault still has any of your orders. The disconnect box tells you, for example "3 orders are still with Bookvault. Disconnecting does not cancel them."
If you need one of those orders stopped, deal with it first. See "Change, withdraw or ship a Bookvault order yourself".
Disconnect Bookvault
Open your profile menu, choose Integrations, and press Manage on the Bookvault card.
Scroll to the bottom of the Overview page and press Disconnect Bookvault.
Read the box. It explains what stops and what carries on.
Press Disconnect Bookvault to confirm, or Cancel to keep the connection.
You'll see "Disconnected from Bookvault" and go back to Integrations, where the card says Not connected. Only the account owner or an Admin can disconnect.
What stops and what carries on
New orders stop. Beventi won't send any more orders to Bookvault. Paid orders stay with you to ship.
Orders already at Bookvault carry on. They keep printing, and Beventi keeps following them until they ship. Each order's own page in Beventi still shows where its Bookvault parcel is up to.
Your links and settings stay on Beventi. Reconnect the same Bookvault account and they're ready to use. If you connect a different Bookvault account, you may need to link your products again.
The Bookvault pages close. Overview, Products and Settings show "Bookvault is not connected. Connect it to open this page." until you reconnect. The Orders page shows the same message with a Reconnect button, and no list of orders.
Removing Beventi from your Bookvault account
Disconnecting stops Beventi using your Bookvault account, but Beventi may still be listed as having access in your Bookvault account. To remove it there too, do it from your own Bookvault dashboard.
Reconnect when Beventi asks you to
Sometimes Bookvault stops accepting Beventi's sign-in, for example if access was removed in your Bookvault account. When that happens:
The Bookvault card shows Action needed and says "Bookvault no longer accepts Beventi's key. Reconnect Bookvault to keep sending orders." The same message shows on your Bookvault pages.
Beventi emails you with the subject "Reconnect Bookvault to keep printing your orders". If it still isn't fixed a week later, you may get a reminder.
While it's broken, new orders aren't sent to print, and they wait for you in Beventi. Orders Bookvault already has keep going, but their shipping updates and tracking can't reach your readers until you reconnect.
Press Reconnect on the card, Reconnect Bookvault on the banner in your Bookvault pages, or Reconnect Bookvault in the email.
Sign in to Bookvault in the new tab and approve Beventi again.
Come back to Beventi. The page updates by itself and you'll see "Connected to Bookvault".
Open Overview and check Waiting on you for any orders that need sending.
Reconnect after you disconnected
Go to Integrations and press Connect on the Bookvault card, then sign in as before. See "How to connect Bookvault to Beventi".
FAQ
How do I turn off or remove Bookvault?
Press Disconnect Bookvault at the bottom of the Bookvault Overview page. See "Disconnect Bookvault" above.
Will disconnecting cancel or refund my Bookvault orders?
No. Orders Bookvault already has carry on. To stop one, see "Change, withdraw or ship a Bookvault order yourself" before you disconnect.
Do I lose my linked books if I disconnect?
No. Your links and settings stay on Beventi. Reconnect the same Bookvault account and they're still there.
Why did I get an email asking me to reconnect Bookvault?
Beventi can no longer sign in to your Bookvault account, for example because access was removed on Bookvault's side. Press Reconnect Bookvault in the email and approve Beventi again.
Can I switch to a different Bookvault account?
Yes, once your current account has no orders in progress. Until then you'll see "Your earlier Bookvault connection still has orders in progress, so Beventi cannot connect a new one yet." You may need to link your products again on the new account.
Can I see my Bookvault orders after I disconnect?
The Bookvault Orders page shows no orders until you reconnect. Each order's own page in Beventi still shows where its Bookvault parcel is up to, and you can follow them in your Bookvault account too.
