To link your bank account to your BirdEase Payments account, our payment partner needs to verify the bank account ownership. This is a security measure put in place to ensure the funds are going to the right place. Our payment partner requires a bank document to verify the bank account you intend to link to your BirdEase Payments account. This document can be a voided check, bank statement, or an official bank letter. You'll be asked to upload one of these documents when you enter your bank information into the BirdEase Payments portal. If you haven't linked your bank account yet, check out this help article.
The bank document must be uploaded to the Bank Accounts tab under 'Settings' in your BirdEase Payments portal. Bank documents to link your bank NOT be reviewed if they are uploaded anywhere else.

Document Requirements:
To ensure our payment partner can accept the bank document you provide, please make sure that the following information is included on the document:
Name on the account
Routing number
Full account number
Documents missing any of this information will not be accepted. If the document you provide is unacceptable, our payment partner will request a new bank document to link your bank account to your BirdEase Payments account.
Bank Linking FAQ:
The bank account information you provide must be associated with the organization/business that you used to apply for your BirdEase Payments account.
Personal bank accounts can only be used if you applied as a Sole Proprietor/Individual
Starter checks or screenshots of bank documentation will not be accepted.
Our payment partner reserves the right to disable your ability to process payments or receive payouts if your BirdEase Payments account does not have a linked bank account.
What Happens Next?
After you upload a bank document to link your bank account to your BirdEase Payments account, our payment partner needs to review and verify the bank document before your bank account can be linked. This review process can take 3-6 business days to complete. If you've been notified that your BirdEase Payments account has been activated, you can take payments while you wait for your bank to be linked. Any funds you take through the site will go to your BirdEase Payments account, but won't be deposited to your bank until it is linked.
