Linking Your Bank Account: Merchant Portal

This is if you opted to link your bank account via Plaid and decide to "Link with account numbers".

If you cannot find your bank account listed in the portal, check out this article.

  1. If your bank is not listed (or doesn’t appear in search), scroll to the bottom of the Plaid window and click “Link with account numbers”

  2. Enter your bank’s routing number. Click “Continue”.

  3. Enter your bank’s account number twice. Click “Continue”.

  4. Enter the name that is listed on the bank account that you are linking. Click “Continue”.

  5. Select your bank account type. Click “Continue”.

  6. Click “Authorize” to initiate the micro-deposit.

    • Note: $0.01 will be deposited into your account within about one business day to verify the account is open and active.

    • IMPORTANT: The micro-deposit with a code will typically take about one business day to show up in your bank account. You will then need to log into your Bank Account to get the code.

  7. Upload bank documentation to validate account ownership

  8. Locate your application under Applications in the Merchant Portal

  9. Click “+ Add Document”.

    • Examples of acceptable documents: A voided check, a bank statement, or an official bank letter showing the name on the account, the account number, and the routing number.

  10. After one day has passed, please log back into the Merchant Portal to verify the micro deposit - this validates that the account is open and can receive funds.

  11. Once signed in to the Merchant Portal, navigate to Settings > Bank Accounts

  12. Locate the account you are verifying. Click “Verify”

  13. Log into your bank account directly on your bank website and look for the 3-letter code that shows up as a line item in your transaction history.

  14. Enter the 3-letter code from the transaction in your account and click Continue”

  15. Success! Our Underwriting team will enable payouts and set the account to active status after reviewing the documentation you uploaded.
