If no automatic import solution is supported for your exchange or wallet, you create a Manual Integration. You add transactions one by one or upload them in bulk with the Blockpit Excel template.
At a glance
👁️ A Manual Integration has no connection by API key or public key. All transactions come from you. Its balance is therefore calculated purely from your transactions (Balance), and the tip Mismatched Balance cannot appear there.
How do I create a Manual Integration?
1️⃣ In the Dashboard, open the Integrations tab and click + Integration.
WebApp View
MobileApp View
2️⃣ Type Manual into the search field and click Manual Integration.
3️⃣ Enter a name for the new integration and confirm with Continue.
4️⃣ Now add transactions one by one or upload them in bulk with the Excel template.
If you click Continue without a file upload, an empty placeholder appears in the Dashboard. You upload the Excel template afterwards via the upload icon of the integration (column B of the template is ignored).
💡 Tip: You can convert Manual Integrations into synced exchange or wallet integrations later: Manage integrations: edit, group, delete.
How do I solve problems with my Manual Integration?
Depending on the problem, Blockpit shows different tips in your transaction list. This order helps to solve them:
Always start a calculation of your transaction data first with Calculation (Transactions) before you analyze tips or the performance values of your portfolio.
1. Create the Manual Integration again
Tip "Missing History" (transactions):
Temporarily create a second integration to compare the new and the old integration. Then delete the integration you do not want to keep.
2. Label or merge transactions
Tip "Unlabeled" (transactions):
You can label transactions with a missing label afterwards, edit them, or connect them into Trades or Transfers by selecting matching pairs of transactions (merge). You change the labels of several similar transactions together with a bulk edit.
3. Edit, exclude or delete transactions manually
If tips are still displayed, incorrect or duplicate imported transactions can be the cause. You can edit, exclude or delete them:
4. Add new transactions
If your transaction history was not imported completely, add transactions manually one by one or upload them afterwards via a direct exchange CSV file upload (if available for your integration, see your integration's guide). Alternatively, you migrate your CSV data into the Blockpit Excel template.
If transactions are missing after an upload, check the Import Time Span: into an integration that already has transactions, Blockpit only takes over transactions after the most recent existing one.
