My Dividend tracker is incorrect

What to do when your Dividend tracker/forecast doesn't match your brokerage data.

If you've linked your brokerage and are noticing discrepancies in your dividends forecast/calendar, here are some reasons why you might be experiencing this:

  1. A holding is missing from your Dividend Calendar

We show dividend data up to 1 month in the future; meaning that as long as the dividend has released either their ex div-date OR their payment date then they will show on Blossom so long as they are within the 1 month time frame. If they are not within this time frame then they won't populate on your calendar.

  2. A holding is missing from your Dividend Forecast/your yield is off

The reason some ETFs do not show up in the Dividend Forecast is because they are less than 1 year old, and dividend projection yields are typically based on 12-month historical yield percentages. This is consistent across most platforms including Yahoo Finance, Seeking Alpha, etc which is why if you look at the ETFs on those platforms as well, you will not see a yield % for them either.

πŸ’‘ If you are still experiencing issues with your dividends and they are not due to the above reasons, this means there is a deeper bug causing the issue. Please send us a message through Settings > Get Help, where we will respond within 24 hours. We will escalate it to our Development team to investigate, which may take 1 week+ depending on the complexity of your case.

To help streamline the process, please provide the following information when you reach out:

  1. Are you linked with a brokerage? Or have your holdings manually added?

  2. Which specific stocks/ETFs are having issues?

  3. Since when did this issue begin? E.g. "dividends not showing since October"

  4. Which specific dividend tracking widget are having errors.

Thank you for your patience and for being a part of the Blossom community πŸ’™
