Create a New Personal Training

You define the name, price, billing frequency, which centres can sell it, and which classes members get access to.

How to get here

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Memberships → Personal training.

  2. Click + New personal training in the top right corner.

  3. You are now on the Create personal training type screen.

1. Basic information

Name

Required. The display name — what members will see.

Short description

Optional. A brief summary shown in lists and cards.

Cover image

Required. Upload one image (JPEG, PNG, or GIF). It will be cropped to 4:3 format.

Description

Required. A full, detailed description using the rich text editor.

Contract

Required. Select the legal contract template that members must accept on purchase.

2. Properties

Frequency

Required. The billing frequency (e.g. Monthly, Weekly, One-time payment, Drop-in).

Product code

Optional. Internal product code for records and reporting.

Product SKU

Optional. Stock Keeping Unit identifier.

Number of clips

Optional. Number of training sessions in the package. Empty = unlimited.

Number of spots

Optional. Maximum number of members who can hold this type. Empty = unlimited.

Accounting account number

Optional. Used when exporting financial data to your accounting system.

Publicly available

Optional. Makes the type visible in your online shop and portal. On by default.

Has access to door system

Optional. Lets members unlock doors via the access control system. On by default.

Limit training hours

Optional. Restricts when members can access the facilities. Only available on Premium and Platinum subscriptions.

Allows training in all centres

Optional. Lets members train at any centre in the chain. Off by default.

Counts towards global limit

Optional. Includes the type in the count towards the global limit. Only shown if a global limit is configured. On by default.

Anchor renewal to the 1st of the month

Optional. Aligns all renewals to the first day of the month. Only shown for certain billing frequencies (e.g. Monthly). May be locked if your centre enforces this globally.

Limit lock access

Optional. Restricts which locks members can open. Only shown if locks are configured.

Lock ID

Conditional. Required if Limit lock access is switched on. Select one or more locks.

3. Training access

Maximum active bookings

Optional. How many upcoming classes a member can be registered for at once. Empty = no limit.

Maximum number of bookings

Optional. Total classes within the period. Empty = no limit.

Training limit period

Conditional. Shown when Maximum number of bookings has a value. Select the period (e.g. Monthly, Weekly).

Allowed classes

Optional. Select which class types are available. Empty = all classes.

4. Training hours (conditional)

Only shown if Limit training hours is switched on. Each row is a time window on a specific day.

Day of the week

Required. The day the window applies to (Monday–Sunday).

Opens

Required. Start time (24-hour format).

Closes

Required. End time (24-hour format).

Click Add opening time to add more windows. Click the red X button to remove a row.

5. Communication emails

Welcome email

Required. Sent when a member purchases. Only templates of type "Welcome email" are shown.

Cancellation email

Optional. Sent when a member cancels. Only "Cancellation" templates are shown.

Pause email

Optional. Sent when a membership is paused. Only "Paused" templates are shown.

6. Pricing

Regular price

Required. The recurring price based on the billing frequency. Must be greater than 0.00.

VAT rate

Required. Select the applicable VAT rate.

Sign-up fee

Optional. Switch on to charge a one-time fee on first purchase. On by default.

Sign-up fee amount

Conditional. Required if Sign-up fee is switched on. Default is your chain's configured amount.

Available in centres

Required. Select which centres can sell this type. At least one centre must be selected.

Purchasable from

Required. The first date the type is available for purchase.

Purchasable until

Optional. The last date the type can be purchased. Empty = no end date. Must be later than "Purchasable from".

7. Save

Click Create at the bottom right. The system validates all fields, creates the type, uploads the cover image, and redirects you back. A green "Created!" notification confirms everything went well.
