Possible cause
If the instructor has recently been assigned the Trainer role, the app may not yet have updated the user's permissions.
Solution
Log out of the app
Log back in using the same account
Wait a moment while the app updates the permissions
Once the user logs in again, the new role will be applied and the associated features will become available.
Result
After logging in again, the instructor should be able to:
Check members in
Access features associated with the Trainer role
Perform actions permitted by the role

If the issue continues after logging in again, verify that the user has been assigned the correct role in the system.
