Our instructor cannot check members in

In this article, you will learn what to do if an instructor is unable to check members in through the app.

Possible cause

If the instructor has recently been assigned the Trainer role, the app may not yet have updated the user's permissions.

Solution

  1. Log out of the app

  2. Log back in using the same account

  3. Wait a moment while the app updates the permissions

Once the user logs in again, the new role will be applied and the associated features will become available.

Result

After logging in again, the instructor should be able to:

  • Check members in

  • Access features associated with the Trainer role

  • Perform actions permitted by the role

Tip

If the issue continues after logging in again, verify that the user has been assigned the correct role in the system.
