Pacing Dashboard

Monitor budget utilization and pacing health across all active campaigns to spot under-spending ad groups fast

The Pacing Dashboard helps you monitor how your active campaigns are spending their budgets over time. It provides a consolidated view of budget utilization, pacing health, and spend trends, making it easy to identify campaigns that are on track and those that may require optimization.

The Pacing Dashboard is a reporting and diagnostic tool. It does not control your campaign's pacing settings.

If you're looking to understand or configure Evenly, ASAP, or Accelerated pacing during campaign setup, see the Pacing Type Explained article.

How to access

  1. Click Pacing from the left-hand navigation.

  2. Use the filters at the top of the page to customize your view.

  3. Review the dashboard widgets and campaign table.

Dashboard Overview

The pacing dashboard consists of three sections:

  • Pacing Health: A donut chart showing the distribution of your active ad groups by pacing status as follows. This provides a quick overview of your campaign health.

    • Under pacing

    • At risk

    • On track

  • Spend Trend: A daily spend chart for the selected date range. Hover over any point to view the exact amount spent on that day and identify spending trends over time.

  • Active Campaigns: A detailed table showing pacing metrics for each ad group. Use the tabs to quickly filter the table: All, Under Pacing, At Risk, and On Track.

Filtering Your Data

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow the dashboard by:

  • Advertiser Name

  • Campaign Name

  • Ad Group Name

  • Date Range

This allows you to focus on specific campaigns or reporting periods.

Best Practices

  1. Review the Pacing Dashboard regularly to identify under-spending early.

  1. Prioritize ad groups marked Under Pacing or At Risk, as they may leave budget unspent.

  2. For Under Pacing campaigns, review bid competitiveness, targeting restrictions, and budget allocation.

  3. If campaigns consistently underspend despite healthy auction opportunities, consider lowering your ROAS goal to allow more competitive bidding.

Important: The Pacing Dashboard is most effective when used alongside Competitive Insights and the Reporting page. Together, these tools help you understand campaign visibility, budget utilization, and overall performance.
