Block bookable activities

When creating activities bookable as a block you will have the chance to pick between two options, Same Day Recurring or All Days.

The usual block booking setting - this will set up weekly recurring activities, but with this, you’ll be able to set up the class across multiple days of the week without having to create an individual activity for each weekday. This option is perfect if you have an activity that runs on the same day, every week.

This is a new block booking type - with this selection, parents will be able to book the same time slot across all days selected in the date range. Individual time slots can also be amended depending on the weekday. This option is best suited for activities that run several days a week.

For the All Days activities, parents will see all days when the activity runs and the available times and dates to book. If any day in the block has a different time than the rest, a “Times vary” warning will be shown to parents, to make sure they’re aware of the changes.

For Same Day Recurring block bookings customers will now be presented with a drop-down that they can use to select the day they’re interested in. After selecting the day, they will be able to review the available time slots and proceed with the booking.

The single session booking flow has remained the same: customers will be able to select the date they’re interested in from a calendar view, in which the eligible dates will be highlighted in green.
