Once you've set up an activity, you may want to make changes such as updating dates, adjusting the time slots, or switching the activity type. Here's how to manage those edits depending on your situation.
How to edit a schedule
If you haven't received any bookings:
You can update your schedule via the schedule creator:
Go to the Schedule tab
Click the three dots besides the schedule you'd like to edit and select edit
Adjust the date range, or
Add a new day of the week
Don't forget to click save!
If you have already received bookings:
You can update the schedule directly from the calendar view - the article below describes what you can do.
1. Adding time slots
Hover over an empty or populated date - the date will highlight to indicate it is clickable.
Once clicked - you'll then see two options:
a) Add a new session: Create a completely new time slot.
b) Add from existing: Choose from other existing time slots used for this schedule that are not currently on the selected date.
Next, choose how you want this change to apply. The 'apply to' options will vary depending on whether the activity is set-up as an all days block or a same day recurring block:
a) All days block
• This date only - will add this time slot to just this date
• All dates from this date onwards - will add the time slot to all future dates in the schedule
b) Same day recurring block
• This date only - will add this time slot to just this date
• All [DayOfWeek] from this date onwards - will add the time slot to all future instances of that day of week in the schedule
2. Deleting time slots
Click on the time slot you want to delete. A modal will open up with the selected time slot expanded.
Click on the bin icon and the time slot will update to indicate it is being deleted
Next, choose how you want this change to apply. The 'apply to' options will vary depending on whether the activity is set-up as an all days block or a same day recurring block:
a) All days block
• This date only - will delete this time slot from just this date
• All dates from this date onwards - will delete this time slot from all future dates in the schedule
b) Same day recurring block
• This date only - will delete this time slot from just this date
• All [DayOfWeek] from this date onwards - will delete this time slot from all future instances of that day of week in the schedule
🚨Important🚨
Deleting a time slot does not notify your customers. If there are bookings on that time slot, you can cancel or move them manually.
• Bookings remain on the system even if the associated time slot is removed.
• Registers for deleted time slot will still be visible in the registers view. They will be tagged with a 'Deleted' icon.
