How to set up Add-Ons

Creating your Add-Ons

You can set up a maximum of 10 Add-Ons when creating or editing any of your activities. Simply navigate to the Add-Ons tab, click Create Add-On, and fill in the details!

Pay per session

Choose this setting if your Add-On should be linked with specific sessions, and you need to collect payment for every date it is added onto.

If your Add-On is not available on all dates within your activity, you can customise its availability too. Simply click the blue button and deselect any dates that your Add-On is unavailable. Your customers won't be able to add it onto any unchecked dates.

Pay per item

Choose this setting if your Add-On is more of a one-off purchase, and you simply need to collect payment each time it is added onto the overall booking.

Unpublish/Delete

  • If you want to stop selling a particular Add-On at any point, you can unpublish it with the toggle in the bottom left, and publish it again at any point.

  • If you unpublish, or even delete any Add-On, data from existing purchases will not be affected.


How this will look for your customers

Once your customer has selected their tickets, they will enter the checkout process.

After filling out their attendee details, they will have the option to buy Add-Ons:

When they pick a Pay-per-session Add-On for one of their attendees, they will choose which dates to apply the Add-On. They will then be charged the price of your Add-On for every date/time that is selected.

Customers also have the option to write order notes for any kind of Add-On once it's been added to their booking. These could be used to communicate additional information such as sizing choices or special requests.


How to view Add-On purchases

Once your customer has purchased an Add-On, you will be given a summary in the booking confirmation email.

You can also view Add-On purchases from the Bookings screen, the Check-in register, and the Attendance Overview screen by clicking on any attendee's name.

In the Check-In Register and Attendance Overview screens, you'll see a tag against attendees that have bought an Add-On.

You will also be able to sort the check-in register to bring all attendees with Add-Ons to the top of the list.
