BoomTown NOW App: FAQ
Updated over a week ago

Why do I need a BoomTown Number to use the BoomTown NOW App?

Your BoomTown number is used to ensure that all your text message communication with leads is logged in BoomTown, for convenient access and reference moving forward!

Since the app is designed to drive fast follow-up with leads-- through calls, emails and texts-- and syncs directly with your leads' profiles in BoomTown, in order to track conversations it's imperative to have your BoomTown number set up before using the app.

Your leads will receive texts from that number, but you can enable call forwarding to ensure they're able to reach you should they decide to call.

Can Broker/Admin users view their Agents' leads in the BoomTown NOW App?

Yes, they can! As a Broker/Admin, you can view all leads in the system whether they are assigned to you or not. You can view the lead's profile and conversations, edit the profile, change the category, or transfer the lead between Agents or Lenders.

Can I sort my leads by category in the BoomTown NOW App?

Yes -- if you'd like to view a list of all your leads within the BoomTown NOW App, and then be able to sort them by lead type and category, this can be done within the Leads tab!

I accidentally dismissed a card, where can I find that notification?

If you dismiss a card on your Waiting On You page, there isn't currently a way to get that card back again. If you remember the name of the lead that the card was about, you can always search for the lead in the search bar at the top of the page to be taken to their profile.

Otherwise, you can access your full CRM and navigate to the Opportunity Wall. Once there, if you access your Live Feed tab, you should see record of the card in the CRM!

How far back do my Past Due To-Dos display in the BoomTown NOW App?

While you're able to view all your Past Due To-Dos through the full version of your CRM on a desktop, within the BoomTown NOW App, the Past Due tab will only display the Past Due To-Dos from the last week, at any given time.

What is a "Suggested Text"?

For iOS users currently, when a profile is opened for a lead with no conversation started, there will be an introduction template text suggested by the system to send along to the lead to start the conversation. You can select to send the template, or change it to another one from your available templates.

The suggested text is not an automated text message, and instead will act as guidance in providing a good introduction to the conversation!

Please review our TCPA Resource Guidelines before sending a text!
