There's a little known metric on Elevate GO DLAR that can help you track and turn around a slow month.

It's called Zero Selling Days (or 0 Selling Days), and can be found as the first column on the EGO DLAR. The number reflected in this column is the number of days in the current month your store has had no sales.

Obviously, you want this number to be 0. The higher the number here, the more non-sales days your store had.

It can be hard to see even 1 non-selling day in this column. There is a cost associated to opening the store every day, and no one wants to end up in the negative. So what can be done to turn things around?

Since everyone in your organization can have access to Elevate GO, use this column to educate your staff about the importance of every day productivity. Converting in-store traffic into just a couple extra sales makes a difference.

Use this metric to motivate staff. If you're at 0, see how long your team can keep the streak going - and reward them for keeping it up! If you had a slow day or two, brainstorm with your staff and make a plan as a team to keep it from getting to 3.

We always say: "You can't track what you don't measure" and we believe this with zero selling days. Keep everyone's eye on this data point and keep a slow day from becoming a slow week, or a slow week from becoming a slow month.

Having this number displayed daily through Elevate GO helps everyone stay informed and on top of squashing zero selling days for good!
