How LSC Administrators create and send a Web or Push announcement to specific roles and accounts.

Announcements let LSC Administrators send Web or Push notifications to other roles in the system.

Create an announcement

  1. As an LSC Administrator, navigate to Configuration>Company>Communications>Announcements and select "Create Announcement".
    ​

  2. In the Announcement Creator, complete the fields:

    • Select a "Transport Type": "Push", "Web", or both.

    • Type a "Headline" (up to 30 characters).

    • Select the "System Roles" and any "Custom Roles" that should receive it.

    • Filter by "Accounts" to notify specific accounts, or select "All".

    • Type the "Body" (up to 178 characters).

  3. Review the preview of the web notification and the number of targeted users on the right.
    ​

  4. Select "Send Test Announcement" to see a real-time preview of the web notification.
    ​

  5. When you're satisfied, select "Send Announcement".
