Roles – Custom Roles

Steps for LSC Administrators to create a custom role with tailored permissions in Boostlingo.

Written by Quinn Bott

Beyond the standard roles, LSC Administrators can create custom roles to refine exactly which features an administrator can access. Give each role a name and set the access level for each part of the platform.

Create a custom role

Sign in as an LSC Administrator.

Select Configuration>Company>Roles.

Select "Add LSC Admin Role" or "Add Requestor Admin Role" in the upper right-hand corner.

Give the role a unique name and set its permissions. For each item, choose an access level: "View," "Manage," or "None." Select "Save" or "Save Changes" if updating role.

For more on what each permission controls, see Custom Roles - Permission List.

Next steps / Getting more help

  • After creating a role, assign it to administrators. See the "Assigning Roles" article.

  • For LSC admins: if a role is not restricting or granting access as expected, reach out to Boostlingo Support with the role name and the permission in question. If you are unsure how to reach Support, contact your Account Manager.
