If there’s an issue inviting an interpreter to your Zoom meeting, you’ll receive an error email. This article explains the common errors and how to resolve them.
No settings exist — the email used to invite the interpreter is no longer valid (likely refreshed). Reach out to your admin or Account Manager for an updated list of Zoom invitation emails.
Restricted — the language pair or service type is restricted by your policy, VRI is restricted for your account, or the Zoom integration isn’t set up. The error email gives details. Reach out to your admin or Account Manager to update your account settings.
Passcode is wrong — your meeting passcode contains non-numeric symbols. Update your Zoom passcode to numbers only.
Settings Invalid — the Zoom invitation email is tied to a deactivated or deleted Boostlingo requestor. Ask for an updated list of Zoom invitation emails.
Meeting Not Started — the invitation email was added to a scheduled meeting before it started. Wait until the meeting starts to invite the interpreter.
Something went wrong… — the invitation is missing the “One tap mobile” section. Update your Zoom email template to include One-Tap Mobile / global dial-in. If it doesn’t fit another category, check the error email body.
Meeting ID not found — either VRI hasn’t been used in 90+ days (revoke Boostlingo access in the Zoom Marketplace and re-link the integration), or the meeting was started by a Zoom user not linked to a Boostlingo requestor (start the meeting from the linked Zoom account).
