I was overcharged, what do I do?

If you were charged more than you expected for your Bounce booking, there are a few things to check first.

Check your booking details

Start by checking your booking confirmation. It includes the details of your booking and the charges associated with it.

Keep in mind that Bounce pricing can vary by location, date, and the number of bags you're storing. If you extend your booking beyond the original storage period, you may also be charged for the additional day.

Seeing what looks like a duplicate charge?

Sometimes a charge that appears twice on your bank statement is a temporary authorization hold rather than a second payment. These holds usually disappear automatically after a few business days.

If both charges remain after a few business days, contact Bounce Support so we can look into it.

Did you accidentally make two bookings?

If you made duplicate or overlapping bookings and only used one of them, contact Bounce Support with the booking details for the unused booking.

We'll review the bookings and let you know what we can do.

What if I was actually overcharged?

If you believe you've been charged incorrectly, contact Bounce Support and provide:

  • Your booking ID

  • The amount you were charged

  • A description of the issue

  • A screenshot of the charge, if helpful

We'll review the charge and help determine the next steps.

When will I receive a refund?

If we're able to confirm that you're owed a refund, we'll let you know how it's being processed.

Refunds to your original payment method can take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

For more information about refunds, including how refunds appear on your bank statement, see How do I request a refund?
