Managing your luggage storage booking is simple and can be done directly through the Bounce app. Whether you need to adjust your drop-off/pick-up times, manage late drop-offs, or adapt to unexpected changes in your schedule, this guide provides step-by-step instructions for modifying your booking seamlessly.
Log in to the app using the email associated with your booking.
Tap on Bookings.
Locate and select the booking you wish to modify.
Click on View details.
Scroll down and tap Edit next to the booking details.
Tap Edit again.
Adjust your drop-off or pick-up time as needed and confirm the changes. This ensures Bounce partners are updated and prevents any issues during luggage handover.
Policies for Late Pickups or Drop-offs for Luggage Storage
No Late Fees: Bounce does not charge any late fees for picking up or dropping off your luggage as long as you do so within the store's opening hours.
Within Store Hours: Always ensure your late arrival is within the operating hours of the Bounce partner store. If you cannot make it on the scheduled day, you will need to collect your items the following day during store hours.
Proactive Communication: Inform the store partner of your delay by using the Bounce app to send a message:
Log in to the Bounce app.
Go to 'Bookings' and select your reservation.
Tap 'View Details', then tap the 'Message Store' button to notify the store of your updated timing.
Consequences of Not Extending Your Booking
If you fail to update your booking and cannot retrieve your items during the pre-booked time, the following policies may apply:
Storage Extension: Your booking might automatically extend at the current rate, per Bounce's Terms of Service, to compensate the storage partner for the additional time.
Unclaimed Items: If your items are uncollected and Bounce or the storage partner cannot reach you, the partner may dispose of the items at their discretion. In this case, you forfeit any claims against Bounce or the location.
Best Practices
Anticipate Delays: If you expect delays due to travel plans (e.g., a delayed flight), update your reservation promptly through the Bounce app and notify the store.
Plan Store Visits: Check the opening hours of the storage location to ensure your arrival aligns with their schedule.
Communicate Proactively: Use the app’s messaging feature to stay in touch with the partner store. This can help resolve potential issues in advance. By keeping your Bounce reservation updated, you can avoid complications and enjoy a seamless luggage storage experience.
Auto Check-In and Check-Out Locations
Some of our partner locations are now equipped with an Auto Check-in and Check-out system. This means there's no need to scan a QR code, you can simply use your booking ID, which can be found in your confirmation email.
At these locations, just provide your booking ID to the store staff upon arrival and pickup. This allows for a smoother and faster check-in and check-out experience, especially at high-traffic locations.
