Where to create a Production Order

  • On the Homepage, open the Production Orders module in the Production Orders section.

  • If you only want orders from a specific area (for example, Cutting or Packaging), use the corresponding area‑specific module.

The list displays orders in Draft, Open, In Planning, In Progress, Paused, Completed, and Finished states. Closed orders are available in the Production History section.

To create a new order, click + Production Order in the top‑right corner.

Fill in the mandatory header fields

In creation mode, complete all mandatory header fields (marked with *):

  • Document Type

  • Section

  • Production Line

  • Date

  • Production Start

  • End of Production

  • Shift

  • Order Type

  • Control Type

  • Order Group

  • Responsible Party

  • Product Category

Define product, batch, and slaughter plan

Use the Main Product, Production Batch, and Slaughter Plan tabs to complete the order setup.

Main Product tab

Fill in the main product information required for the order:

  • Product

  • Production Version

  • Quantity

  • Unit

Production Batch tab

After a Product is selected in Main Product, the Lot field becomes available. You can then:

  • Select an existing batch from the Lot dropdown.

  • Create a new batch and enter the required batch details.

  • Use the Generate Batch option, which creates the batch automatically according to the product’s batch rule configuration (if the product is configured this way, Generate Batch is preselected by default).

Whether you create or generate a batch, all mandatory batch detail fields in Lot Information (for example, Production Date, Expiration Date, Country of Origin, Country of Slaughter, and any other required fields) must be filled before the production order can be saved.

Slaughter Plan tab

For orders in the Slaughter section, link the order to existing slaughter plans when relevant.

  • Open the Slaughter Plan tab.

  • Click Add Slaughter Plan and select one or more plans to associate with this production

Products and co‑products

At the bottom, in Products, you can add extra products to the order.

  • Click Add Product to include co‑products that will be produced in the same order.

Save the order

  • Click Save to create the production order or Cancel to discard it.

  • After saving, you are redirected to the Production Orders dashboard, where the new order appears in an open status and is ready to be planned or started according to your process.
