Company suggestions

Employees can make suggestions about the company to see if there is anything they would like to change.

Company suggestions is an area in the system where employees can make suggestions on what they would like to see in the company this could be anything from team lunches to adding a water cooler in the office.

This article will go through adding, commenting on and deleting a company suggestion. 

How to Create a Company Suggestion

Step 1: Enable your company suggestions. 

Configure > Settings > Modules > Company Suggestions

Step 2: Create a company suggestion

Community > Scroll down to Recent suggestions > Lightbulb icon

You will now see the suggestions page and be able to make a suggestion by pressing the + icon displayed below...

Once you have submitted a suggestion, it will appear on the Community Dashboard under the recent suggestions.

From the Community menu you can also view other people's suggestions and vote/comment on them.

How to Approve/Reject a Company Suggestion

HR have the ability to monitor company suggestions that have been submitted by their employees. To approve/reject a suggestion, select the company suggestion dropdown

Then click 'view and vote on other people's suggestions'.

Alternatively you can go to the "Community tab"

Click the bulb icon and within this section you will see a list of all the suggestions that have been made and who suggested them.

Click the speech bubble icon on the company suggestion.

Towards the far right of the suggestion you will see an edit (pencil) icon.

This will take you through to the edit suggestion screen. From this edit page you will be able to approve/reject the suggestion.

How to Delete a Company Suggestion

Only HR users have the ability to delete a company suggestion.

Go to your Community menu

Scroll down to Company Suggestions > Bulb icon to view all


Click the speech bubble icon on the suggestion and use the bin icon to delete the company suggestion.
