When you mark a person as a leaver in Breathe, the Admin of the account will receive an email with the next steps.

In this email, there'll be guidance on the pro-rata adjustment Breathe thinks should be made. However, this is just a suggestion & doesn't take into account any company policies you may have.

If you'd like to make this adjustment, here is an example of how you would do it:

This image shows a person's holiday allowance for the full holiday year. As they're now leaving part-way through the year, their holiday allowance would need to be decreased.

In this instance, it's advised the pro-rata holiday entitlement should be 14.5 days:

This is NOT how much available holiday they should have left, or the adjustment that should be made. This figure is just what Breathe believes their holiday allowance should be.

The full-year allowance is 20 days, and their pro rata allowance is recommended to be 14.5, so you would make a negative adjustment of 5.5 (20 - 14.5 = 5.5)
