It is super easy to alter a user's leave entitlement within Breathe. This can be done using manual adjustments.
As an HR user, you can make manual adjustments to leave allowances by heading to the profile > leave tab. You can then adjust the leave allowance by using the +/- buttons.
Note: When pressing either the + or - button, you do not have to put a positive or negative character in front of the number of days you are wanting to make the adjustment for. This will end up making an adjustment the other way
Can you make an adjustment to your own leave?
The way that Breathe is set up, stops users from being able to edit their own leave allowance, regardless of permissions.
Generally, you will need another HR or Admin user in your account to make this adjustment for you. This is to ensure accountability, security and accuracy of the data stored within Breathe.
If, however, you or a user is set up to self-approve their leave, you or the user will be able to make adjustments to the leave. You will need to toggle both of the settings below by following the pathways:
Configure > Settings > Change what HR users can see and do as seen below.
Please note: All adjustments made to the user's leave will disappear with the end of the holiday year. They will also disappear if you change your holiday year within Breathe.
