It is super easy to alter a user's leave entitlement within Breathe. This can be done using manual adjustments.
As an HR user, you can make manual adjustments to leave allowances by heading to the profile > leave tab. You can then adjust the leave allowance by using the +/- buttons.
Please note: After pressing either the + or - buttons, you are not required to enter a positive or negative character in front of the number of days you are wanting to make the adjustment for. If you do this, it will cancel out the button press and make the adjustment the other way round.
Can you make an adjustment to your own leave?
The way that Breathe is set up, stops users from being able to edit their own leave allowance, regardless of permissions.
Generally, you will need another HR or Admin user in your account to make this adjustment for you. This is to ensure accountability, security and accuracy of the data stored within Breathe.
If, however, you or a user is set up to self-approve their leave, you or the user will be able to make adjustments to the leave. You will need to toggle both of the settings below by heading to...
Configure > Settings > Change what HR users can see and do > Tick "HR Leave needs approval"
Within a users profile: More > Permissions > Manager and holiday approver > Tick "Does not need to request holidays"
Please note: All adjustments made to the user's leave will be removed at the end of the holiday year. They will also be removed if you change your holiday year within Breathe.
