So that we're able to process donations as quickly as possible, please ensure that the correct bank details and registered charity number are recorded within a client's Breathe account.

Who can add charity details to the account?

Only the Admin user on the account can enter charity and bank details. If you are the Partner for the client account, you will be the account Admin.

How to add charity details to the account?

The Admin on the account can input charity details by following the steps below:

  1. Visit Configure > Settings > Account > Details.

  2. Click on the edit icon.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

  4. Enter your charity details.

  5. Click the 'update account' button.

The charity details section includes five fields that must be accurately completed to ensure the charity donation is paid. These fields are shown below:

The 'Registered charity name' field needs to be exactly the same as how it appears on a client's bank statement.

Please note that donations from 2025 equate to approximately 25% of the total amount (exc. VAT) that Breathe has received from the account over the last 3 months. This will be made quarterly, four times per year.

Charity donations will be calculated after Partner commission has been factored in. Due to this, some Partners work differently to their charity clients who use Breathe...

  • Pass on your reward level commission to your client, to ensure they receive the expected donation amount

  • Set your client up as a referral, as opposed to managed, to ensure they receive the expected donation amount
