This article is for Rota, Time & Attendance line managers & company admins.

This article includes information about how Rota, Time & Attendance links with Breathe, when you add a new team member or mark someone as 'left'.

This guide includes:

  1. Onboarding

  2. Offboarding

Onboarding

When a new team member joins the business and is added to the HR module with their start dates, working locations and job roles, they'll be automatically added to the Rota, Time & Attendance module.

The RTA module will then have access to their basic data (such as name and telephone number) and this will be added to their RTA profile.

You'll be able to set up employee notifications so that you're in control of what your employees are reminded about. These include things such as a shift being allocated to them, as well as available shifts that have been offered.

Offboarding

When a member of your team is due to leave your business, you'll mark them as 'left' or 'leaving' in their HR profile within Breathe. This will also be passed to the RTA module, so that they can be removed on the specified date.

Marking an employee as 'left'

When you mark an employee as 'left', the employee will be removed from RTA on the specified date. This means that you won't be able to add any more shifts to their rota, or edit their timesheets. (Their timesheets and rota records will still be included in reports).

Marking an employee as 'leaving'

When you mark an employee as 'leaving', the employee will be removed from RTA on the date added as their last day in your business. From this date, you won't be able to add any more shifts to their rota or edit their timesheets.

*Please note: you'll need to approve/reject/make any amendments to an employee's timesheet/s on their last working day, to ensure correct processing.*
